Mark Robotic Lab has an aim which wishes people join together to become a world team and share your creation through this online platform. Hopefully, it can improve “Mark 1 Robot” to have greater applications to help human in life living by your ideas. Believe that it may reduce the cost and everyone can enjoy the result of future.

Therefore, Mark Robotic Lab will publish “Instruction Manual Book”, to sell digital robot 3D data files and robotic related products for makers. It can let the makers easy to understand, save time and use simple tools to make a robot by themselves.

The “Instruction Manual Book” is included over 5 years experience on “Mark 1 Robot” R&D, material & tools introduction and step-by-step to let you know the whole processing for how to make “Mark 1 Robot”.

But before above mentions, it sets a rule as follow.  The book will be posted on this online platform in 600 units for pre-order (600 units is the minimum order quantity of hard-copy printing number.).  Besides, it must hit this number as my goal!  For protecting all backers who ordered this book and keep the copyright in reserved before my book to life.  Therefore, I must not release any digital versions or pdf versions thru any methods.

Welcome to the future!
The “Mark 1 Robot” project is essentially an art and technology based project with a simple premise - to allow the evolution of consumer robotics through hands-on experimentation. I want to provide an opportunity for “makers” to create, share and advance their robotic experiences and creative designs, to further the robotics movement.

Through the “Mark 1 Robot” project, hobbyists can join together and share their ideas, download plans, learn robot making and experience advanced mechanics on a user-friendly platform.

Additionally, I may help others progress their skills to the point of being able to market/sell their creative designs online. I want the growth of sharing to hopefully result in the growth of commerce in robots.

Of course, as an “art” based project I welcome artists and designers from all fields! Art and design are very important and is the key point to combine with new technology - otherwise, “robots” will only be a mesh of wires and circuit boards.

In the future, I hope all involved will keep modifying and upgrading the base design together. The “Mark 1 Robot” should benefit from this community development cycle by finding real world applications and resulting in more advanced progress into the future.
